ULTRA-STABLE PERFORMANCE
The legendary jog wheels from the Vestax VCI series have stepped up in their game with an advanced structure and larger platters for extra stability and smoothness. The platters of the VCI-380 are highly responsive, transmitting MIDI signals with extreme accuracy. The LED needle point embedded in the jog wheel provides excellent visual monitoring, indicating the decks playback position. The torque of the jog wheels can be adjusted to your preference, and as like all VCI series controllers you can pitch bend the track by touching the sides of the jog wheels.

STAND ALONE MIXER
The stand alone mixer function of the VCI-380 has great capacity for adaptability. The two hybrid channels are capable of mixing external devices such as CD players, turntables and MP3 players, together with tracks and samples Serato ITCH is playing. Each channel has an RCA Phono/Line input for limitless connection options, and the crossfader and input faders curve can be adjusted like any DJ mixer. Mixes with the input source can be tweaked with Trim, EQ and in addition, the FX knobs on each channel function as Hi-Pass filters, to add an extra touch to your performance.

The Vestax VCI-400 works with any DJ software that has a MIDI learn function. Having more than 200 assignable parameters (knobs, faders and buttons), you will have plenty of room to fit in all necessary controls of the software you use. Although, we understand creating a MIDI map from scratch can be time consuming. In 2008, the VCI-300+ITCH was the beginning for Vestax and Serato to create a new DJ console of the next generation.
The goal was clear. To design a light weight and compact digital DJ instrument with the touch of analog control.
Preserving the concept of the VCI-300+ITCH, the VCI-300MKII comes with usability improvements based on feedback from VCI-300 customers.

HIGH RESOLUTION CONTROL
The VCI-300MKII can control more than 90 parameters and functions of the included Serato software with high resolution MIDI signals sent via USB. The pulse resolution of the JOG wheel and pitch control fader is 4 times higher than the VCI-100 and provides precise control of each function. The pitch control fader also shares the same high quality fader parts of the input fader for advanced operability.

SUPERB AUDIO CHARACTERISTIC
The built-in audio interface carries a Audio Codec IC with superb audio characteristic, generated by a delta-sigma modulation 24 bit stereo D/A-A/D converter. Audio connection includes 1 stereo input, 1 MIC input and 2 stereo output (Master L/R, Monitor L/R).

LEVEL INDICATION
A 12 level LED L/R indicator is set in the center of the top panel to monitor sound levels.

FILE CONTROL
Audio files in the software library can be easily selected and controlled with the CRATES / FILES / BROWSE key and the cursor switch inherited from the VCM-100.

EMERGENCY THRU SWITCH
The Emergency Thru Switch located on the rear panel is a countermeasure where you can use the VCI-300MKII with the provided ITCH software or without the computer connected if you simply want to play music from your external CD or MP3 player. The ITCH software reads music from your iTunes library or the Serato library you use for Scratch LIVE, making it the perfect device for recreational or professional DJ's.

ADJUSTABLE JOG WHEEL TORQUE
The torque of each JOG wheel can be adjusted to prevent them from moving from low frequency feedback and altering the pitch when using the VCI-300 in such places like clubs.

FADER CURVE CONTROL
The fader curve of each fader can be adjusted to the preferred characteristics for long mixes, scratching and any other style.

The Vestax Typhoon comes with everything you need to start DJing with your personal computer and music collection. It comes bundled with Traktor LE and lets you load up tracks, mix between decks, and play with filters and effects all without ever reaching for your laptop keyboard. The soundcard on board enables you to send your mix out to speakers and preview tracks in headphones before mixing them in. The only things keeping it in the beginner zone are the RCA outputs (not as loud as quarter inch or XLR), and the touch sensor discs which aren’t as responsive as the Vestax’s VCI series. But these setbacks seem well in line with the price point.

So far we've seen a great response to the Vestax Typhoon from our customers. It's been reported to be really easy to get set-up and started with. The long awaited effect controller for VCI-300+ITCH, the VFX-1. An effect control unit which brings out the best in Djing with the DJ MIDI controller VCI-300+ITCH. 2 individual effect channels with 12 effects each, along with 3 control knobs to control the parameters for each effect.

ITCH Screen New Version
The VFX-1 only requires simple USB connection with your computer and runs with the power provided.
Connecting the VCI-300 and VFX-1 together will activate the effect unit of serato ITCH. Special settings or any installation is not needed.
