Sonicware ELZ-1 Synthesiser

Diverse sound engines include the FM SYNTH, the 8BIT WAVE MEMORY SYNTH that allows editing and morphing, the DNA Explorer that can be used to examine and alter waveforms from captured audio, the SAND FLUTE noise engine, and the SiGRINDER granular synthesizer.

From the day you put your hands on the ELZ_1, you will become a sound adventurer.

Start a journey in search of exciting sounds that are unique to this world.

Step sequencer:

A step sequencer with up to 64 steps and 6-voices has been added in Version 2.

- Length of 1 to 64 steps
- Real-time and step recording
- Notes between steps can be tied
- Up to 128 patterns can be created
- Build sequences in real time during live performances using the five real-time recording modes (add / overwrite tied notes, add / overwrite one-step notes, erase notes)
- Metronome
- Import / export sequence data

Sync with external clock signals (Compatible with volca series and Pocket Operator series):

By connecting a device that outputs a clock pulse of less than 5V*, which includes KORG volcas and Teenage Engineering Pocket Operators, to the ELZ_1 AUX IN jack, their step sequencers and arpeggiators can be synchronized.

Other features:

- With a Pocket Operator, both the clock signal and mono audio signal can be input by connecting with a stereo mini pin cable
- Using the SYNC THRU function, the clock signal can be output from the headphone jack, allowing multiple devices that support synchronization to be chained

Synthesizer enhancements:

Parameters that support modulation have been added to SONICWARE's unique DNA EXPLORER, SiGRINDER and SAND FLUTE synth engines. All the parameters of these synth engines can be modulated with an LFO or envelope.

- Real-time modulation of the EXPLORE parameter in DNA EXPLORER and the DIG parameter in SiGRINDER makes the sounds of these synth engines even more dynamic and further enhances their organic characteristics.
- By adding a GLIDE parameter to the MONO and LEGATO modes of the SAND FLUTE noise engine, the noise sound of different pitches can be tied together smoothly, increasing the expressiveness of this synth.

Sonicware LIVEN XFM Synthesiser

Classic FM sounds, effortlessly merged with FM FUSION.

Using the 4-track sequencer and presets, you can construct an entire song.

Three Fusion FM Engines X-LAB Engine
Merge two FM sounds with a single knob to create a completely new sound.

XFORM Engine
Transform one FM sound into another over a specific period of time.

X-LFO Engine
Continuously transform between two FM sounds using an LFO.

Over 300 Inspiring Preset Sounds
Ready-to-use presets including, leads, keyboards, strings, winds, basses, pads, chords, drums, and sound effects.

Two approaches to FM sound design

Intuitive and Quick
Merge and sculpt FM sounds with a single, intuitive, knob turn.

The X-Lab engine merges two FM sounds by smoothly blending their envelopes, modulation routing, and feedback. The X-Lab algorithm can merge sounds with radically different FM structures and overtones, all without losing the fundamental tuning of the sound. Pitch locking can also be turned off to create brilliant atonal transitions between FM sounds.

Merged sound can then be saved, recalled, and merged with additional FM sounds. This is called merging process FUSION FM.

Logical and Deep

For those who want to dive into the FM Engine, the EDIT mode and included overlay provide full access to the innovative 4-OP XFM engine.

15 knobs and 30 buttons provide quick and intuitive access to all FM parameters.

Explore FM synthesis without the conventional menu diving and head scratching.

4-Track Step Sequencer

Perfect for song production and live performance

Manage lead, bass, rhythm, and more, each on separate tracks.

Sequence up to 64 steps per pattern.

Save up to 128 patterns.

The parameter locking function allows you to record knob changes into your patterns. This automation function can be recorded live, or programmed in step by step.

Sub-divide the tempo down to 32nd notes for higher resolution sequencing.

Sequence longer notes across several steps, AKA Tied Notes.

Sonicware SmplTrek Portable Production Sampler (black)

Portable hand-held sampler with serious power, originally launched on Kickstarter and now in production. One-touch sampling via a range of inputs, internal sequencer, built-in effects and resampling.

Supplier's Notes:
Easy Sampling

You can easily sample any sounds with the built-in microphone, your microphone or electric guitar connected to the input, or even a USB-connected smartphone or PC / Mac.

You can even sample applying an insert effect. For example, your electric guitar can be added to Distortion or your vocal to Compressor.

Sampled sounds can be quickly assigned to pads with auto-slicing, and can also be edited manually in detail by viewing the waveform display.

Sampled sounds can also be easily matched to the tempo and key of your song.

You can also resample a sequenced phrase of sampled sounds including applied effects.

Flexible Song-making

Each song project has 16 sequential parts called "Scenes". Each Scene has 10 sequencer tracks which can behave in different ways, as described below:

- Loop Track: Sequencer for a looping sample
- Shots Track: Sequencer for a single one-shot sample
- Drum Track: Step sequencer for drums
- Instrument Track: Piano roll type sequencer for musical instruments
- MIDI Track: Piano roll type sequencer for external MIDI equipment

Three additional Global Audio Tracks are available for longer recordings like vocals and external instruments. These tracks can record multiple takes which can be spliced into a final perfect version. Traditional "punch-in" style recording is also supported.

Easily structure a full song by sequencing scenes and setting how many times they repeat before moving to the next scene. You can set the order of scenes via a copy function.

A song can be mixed down through a mastering effect, and be exported to a single audio file or individual audio files (stem files) for each track.

Effortless Music Streaming

You can stream your music in perfect quality with a single USB cable, without any driver installation or troublesome menu settings.

You can livestream your voice and performance in real time while playing along with your song. And they can be controlled with crossfading and mixing with effects.

Massive Sample Libraries

More than 500 high-quality sample sounds are available (for download), so you can start creating a songs right away, even if it's your first time.

Samples you record are stored to the SD card. In Crad Reader mode you can download your recordings, or import new samples from your PC / Mac.

36 types of internal DSP effects can be used as the insert, send, and master effects.

Versatile Connectivity

The SmplTrek can connect to a wide range of audio sources such as, dynamic microphones, electric guitars / bass, synthesizers, and even USB audio sources from PC / MACs or smartphones.

The SmplTrek can output audio via two analog outputs, or digitally via USB for live streaming and direct DAW recording.

It can also synchronize its tempo with other devices using MIDI or audio sync.
