NEW GENERATION SERATO MASTERY
The DDJ-SZ2 builds on the strong foundations of its predecessor, our flagship DDJ-SZ controller. This upgrade to our flagship Serato DJ controller allows you to get hands on with the latest additions to Serato DJ, including key shift, key sync, pitch play and Serato Flip. We’ve improved the jog wheel latency to make scratching more responsive and precise and the multi-coloured performance pads give you instant feedback on playing status and pad modes.

The DDJ-SZ2 comes bundled with the latest version of Serato DJ, the Pitch n’ Time and Serato Flip expansion packs are also included so you can use the new features straight out the box.

DEDICATED CONTROLS

PROFESSIONAL OSCILLATOR
Create a more versatile sound by turning the knob to overlay your track with Noise, Drop, Laser or Siren. Modulate using the dial to add texture as well as tension to your tracks.

LARGE ALUMINIUM JOGS
The DDJ-SZ2's full-sized jog wheels are optimised for a perfect scratch response and you can use Jog Feeling Adjust to set your preferred resistance. The jogs have illuminated cue point markers and an accurate countdown for even greater precision.

BACKLIT PERFORMANCE PADS
Instantly trigger Hot Cues, Roll, Slicer, Sampler, Cue Loop, Saved Loop, Slicer Loop and Pitch Play. The multi-coloured backlit LEDs give a visual reference to which modes are in play, and will reflect cue points you’ve pre-set in Serato DJ.

Sound Color FX
Trigger Pitch, Echo, Jet and Filter FX and use the level/depth dial to manipulate the sound.

Dual USB ports

OVERVIEW
Designed for Serato® software users, specifically for “Serato DJ,” the DDJ-SP1 is a slim and compact sub-controller that uses multiple performance pads, controls, buttons, and knobs to trigger a variety of unique audio samples and effects. The DDJ-SP1 is designed to be the ideal companion to Pioneer’s new DJM-900SRT mixer but can also be matched with other systems via its MIDI controller functionality.

SOFTWARE
The DDJ-SP1 is made for Serato software users who want to add effects when using a professional DJ setup of two players and a mixer such as the DJM-900SRT. With the sub-controller, DJs can enhance their performances with multiple effects, similar to what's being done with our extremely popular DDJ-SX controller for Serato DJ. The DDJ-SP1 includes a free of charge download of a Serato Video plug-in (valued at more than $100). The plug-in is compatible with Serato DJ, Scratch Live and ITCH, that makes it extremely easy for users to insert video, effects and image files with music.

SERIOUS AUDIO EFFECTS
Performance Pads – Sixteen Performance Pads on the sub-controller for seven different functions including Hot Loop, Auto Loop, Manual Loop, Hot Cue, Roll, Slicer, and Sampler. A "Sampler Velocity" function determines the output volume of the sample based on how hard the pads are struck. Each pad can be assigned as a hot cue point, and its blue illumination will signify its state of play for instant graphic feedback.

Sampler Volume Fader - In between the the performance pads is a volume slider to control output of the trigger pads. The convenient location of the slider enables quick volume adjustment during finger drum performances.

Slip Mode – Pioneer included a Slip Mode function that enables continuous music playback in the background even when loops and hot cues are being performed. The functionality can also be used with players and controllers that support Serato DJ but not Slip Mode.

FX Knobs/Buttons – The integrated knobs and buttons are arranged for Serato DJ software for operation of iZotope® effects.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
The sub-controller includes a free of charge download of Serato Video (valued at more than $100), a video control plug-in compatible with Serato DJ, Scratch Live and ITCH, that makes it extremely easy for users to insert video, effects and image files with music.

DDJ-SP1 can be mounted on the X-Stand (T-U101), Pioneer’s portable DJ stand (sold separately).
