At Pioneer, we have developed a new 96 kHz full-digital professional performance DJ mixer-- DJM-2000. This mixer with its interface enables DJs to create new music at DJ mixing performance, and equipped with the PRO DJ LINK function that allows DJs to connect with multi-players such as CDJ-2000. In this model, while inheriting the basic layout of our club-standard DJM series, we have come up with an interface, bigger and laid it out right in the middle of the mixer which allows DJs to perform more individualistically. Our industry-first*15.8 inch large LCD multi-touch panel allows the DJ to use Touch Panel Effects while checking it visually. It also comes with BEAT EFFECT & INST FX functions which allow DJs to intuitively alter the sound; with this mixer alone without connecting to multiple devices allows in real time flexible performance for the DJs. Using the PRO DJ LINK function allows the music data to be shared up to 4 players-CDJ-2000 or CDJ-900 with just one SD card*2or USB storage device. And up to two computers can be connected*3, allowing the smooth transition to the next DJ. What's more, the mixer has an internal USB audio interface, so up to 4 audio signal sources can be input directly from a computer. In terms of sound quality, it exceeds the DJM-800 and offers Pioneer's best sound. Ever since the launch of our fully digital DJ mixers DJM-1000 and DJM-800, we have gained strong prestige among pro DJs and the mixers have been introduced into many of the famous clubs around the globe. Along with our aim of solidifying our lineup with the introduction of the DJM-2000, Pioneer has also been working hard to invigorate the DJ market with proposals for new ways to enjoy music.

Features Interface layout gives DJs opportunity to add more originality in arranging music We laid out the interface in the center of the mixer to enable an individual, intuitive performance. DJ can add arrangements to music with a variety of control, such as Tap, Warp and Trace with the three Effect sections. And the three Effect sections can be used in combination, giving the DJ all the more scope for original arrangements. • Industry-First*1 Three New Performance Modes using the 5.8 inch Full-Color, Multi-touch Display We have adopted an industry first*1 5.8 inch large LCD multi-touch panel display. So the DJ can see and hear the result of effects, while easily and intuitively operating the mixer like none before, and we have added 3 kinds of performance modes. The FREQUENCY MIX, enabling a more precise music mix, the SIDECHAIN REMIX, with its 7 kinds of dynamic effects, and the four types of MIDI mode that allow the DJ to use a computer - all making every DJ-ing scene and DJ play style possible. • Evolved BEAT EFFECT for manipulating every frequency and altering the various sounds linked to the beat Equipped with an evolved BEAT EFFECT, which is a highly acclaimed function of the DJM series. EFFECT FREQUENCY allows the DJ to control the level of effects to add to each frequency band, so an echo can be added just to the vocals, or the hi-hat rhythm can be doubled, providing a higher flexibility to perform like never before. And we have added physical buttons for selecting effects and beats, making it possible to enjoy dynamic effect performance like never before. • INST FX allows effects to be applied intuitively, with just the turn of a knob The DJM-2000 has incorporated six kinds of effects (NOISE, HPF, LPF, JET, ZIP & CRUSH) for an intuitive performance with a turn of FILTER knob for each channel. And the PARAMETER knob allows for fine tuning of each effect. Equipped with PRO DJ LINK, the function that links multi-DJ players Pioneer DJ players (CDJ-2000 & CDJ-900) that are compatible with PRO DJ LINK and a computer with rekordbox installed can be connect to the mixer via a LAN cable which enables following PRO DJ LINK features. • Sharing SD Card*2 / USB Device The music files and control data saved on an SD card*2 or USB storage device can be shared and played on up to four CDJ-2000 or CDJ-900 players via this mixer. • rekordbox LINK The music files and control data of rekordbox can be read and be played on CDJ-2000 or CDJ-900 players via this mixer. • Live Sampler Sound input from MIC or sound output from the MASTER*4 out put can be recorded to this mixer and played on a CDJ-2000 or CDJ-900. Words recorded from the MIC can be immediately used for scratching or for other new performances. • Link Monitor The music files in rekordbox can be monitored on headphones. This allows the DJ to check the song before playing it on a player, thus making it a smooth-flow for selecting and playing a song. • Status Information The status of each connected channel (On-air*5 status, channel number, etc.) is sent to the connected CDJ-2000 or CDJ-900. The color of the JOG ring light of the player changes for the current on-air*5 channel, allowing the current status to be checked at a glance during DJ play and provides a sense of reassurance. Internal USB Audio Interface The mixer is equipped with a USB Audio Interface, which allows the audio signal of music playing on a computer to be input to the DJM-2000 via a USB connection with the computer*6. This makes it possible to use a computer, even without an external sound card, for DJ play. From one computer up to a maximum of 4 sources of audio signal can be assigned to each channel. It is also possible to output the master output to the computer. This makes it extremely convenient to record the mixed audio.*７ High-quality Design made for the Ideal Club Sound The DJM-2000 uses a balanced output amp and its completely discrete structure allows the sound quality in each bandwidth to be adjusted. We pursued the ideal club sound by painstakingly creating a sound down to the very details of how sound resonates. By using a high fidelity, balanced hybrid op-amp and a perfectly balanced output circuit in the analog processing, we have achieved a reduction in noise with a dynamic range of 107dB with 0.004%THD, providing a clear, powerful sound. Other Features • A switching 3-band EQ & 3-band Isolater on each channel. The EQ provides control of +6dB to -26dB & the Isolater gives +6dB to -∞dB. • Digital IN on each channel. This permits input of an audio signal with no deterioration in sound quality. • Connection with CDJ player with PRO DJ LINK or Control cable will allow player to start playing music “Fader Start Play” by switching faders. • Equipped with a Talkover function, which lowers the volume of the music when there is input from the Mic. • All channels are equipped with a Peak Level Meter for checking the input levels at a glance of the sources being input to each channel. • Equipped with our Crossfader Assign function, which allows the flexible assignment of the input on each channel to the crossfader. • Equipped with a Fader Curve Adjust function, that allows changes to crossfader and channel fader curves. • Convenient for club or studio as it is 19-inch rack mount ready (Meets EIA standards).*9 *1 As a DJ mixer.
