DirtStyle - Q-bert Battle Breaks
DirtStyle - Q-bert Battle Breaks
The first break record to have an actual structure probably due the fact it was the first time actual scratchers arranged the sounds. Prior to this most sample records had huge gaps in between samples and didn't have any 'classic' material that real djs wanted to use. The format was original in its own right as it is almost close to being a mix of samples and the original records they came from.
This was the record the 'Rock Steady Djs' (Mixmaster Mike, Apollo and Qbert) used for their routine in the 1992 DMC to eventually take the world title and includes sounds obviously contributed by each respective artist. A must have for any classic scratch record collector.
